CBS 6 confirmed the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home would be handling the arrangements for 11-year-old Jeremiah "JJ" Myers, 5-year-old Shanise Myers and their mother, Shanta Myers, 38; The three along with Shanta Myers’ partner, Brandi Mells, 22, were found dead in the building where they lived on 2nd Ave in Troy on December 26th.Mells’ funeral arrangements are being handled by her family separately, according to the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home.CBS 6 spoke with a woman who did not want her identity revealed. She says she’s lived in the same building as the victims for more than two years.“I knew both of the families, both females, they were nice people”, the woman said.“Shanta was a good, loving mother, anytime you saw Shanta she was out here preparing dinner for her kids.”Last weekend Troy Police announced they had arrested 24-year-old Justin C. Mann and 38-year-old James White. Both now face four counts of first and second degree murder charges. They’re do back in Troy City Court on Thursday.
